Todos sigue igual mas o menos AT intenta recortar alguna milla a LC, Le Diraison intenta hacer un aparejo de fortuna y por detras Didac sigue a 112 millas de Hereema, aumenta su ventaja con sus perseguidores y se acerca al grupo de Bellion. Parece que definitivamente le va a entrar viento , a ver como se maneja en lo que parece serán sus condiciones mas duras por el momento.

Sin duda el ex Macif de Gabart vencedor de la pasada edición es un magnifico barco y Meilhat recuperado de su rotura de costillas muy pronto, un gran tipo. Muy discreto.
Jeremi Beyou es muy querido también por el público pero El Maitre Cocq, ex Foncia tuneado con foils, 2º en el 2012 13, tiene desde hace tiempo la mayor tocada. Ganador de tres Figaros entre muchas otras, es de la generación de Armel Le Cléac'h y Yann Elies, . Desjoyeaux dijo fue un honor ser ganado por Jeremie en la Figaro del 2005 y esa fue delas más duras que se conocían. Especialista en mal tiempo.

Es una lucha donde los dos caen bien a todos, con el primer y segundo clasificado de la pasada Vendee.:brindis:

Totalmente de acuerdo, están luchando por el tercer puesto actual, ayer las pasarón pu...., y aún deben de seguir, 50 * viento, navegando en conserva, a escasas 10 m de diferencia y en permanente contacto por vhf, :adoracion::adoracion:

Banque Populaire VIII and Hugo Boss are now sailing in two different weather systems. They have a high pressure ridge between them.

Hugo Boss should finally get rid at the end of the day of the small low pressure system which will have slowed Thomson down a lot for the last 3 days while Banque Populaire seems to have suceeded in the transition between the border of the high pressure system and the North West of the Low pressure system which moves towards Cape Horn. The speedo should thus display high speeds for Armel le Cléac'h during the next hours.
From this evening, both leaders will sail in a different weather system. The forecast for tomorrow shows that they will be on both sides of a ridge of high pressure (zone in blue to the South of the High Pressure H).
SMA and Maître CoQ have not managed to cross the axis of the depression which has been blocking them for 48 hours. The wind conditions are still very unstable near its center, which explains why the ranking varies quickly.

The trio Quéguiner, StMichel Virbac and Finistère Mer Vent are sailing in a moderate northerly flow. Thomas Ruyant who went far North to avoid the strongest winds of the depression to the south of New Zealand still has more than 40 knots of wind. He is the skipper who is encountering the toughest conditions at the moment.

For the second group, the low pressure systems follow one another in the Indian Ocean. Sébastien Destremau and Romain Attanasio are probably the ones who have most wind today with a new low coming from the West. The wind may blow at more than 50 knots in the gusts under the front. This low is going to continue to move eastward and to affect the competitors who are still in the Indian Ocean one after the other.

Espectaculares imágenes de Thomas Ruyant a bordo del Souffle de Nord...
Ha subido de latitud para evitar males mayores pero aún navega con 45' tres rizos y dice estar feliz de esa posición
Hay varios con diferentes roturas.

Impresionantes las imágenes de Ruyant. ¡Cómo van!!!..:eek::eek:

En el 0:45 parece otra trasluchada, se ve la sombra de la vela y la botavara, pero parece que finalmente sigue por la misma banda...

Y LC parece que ya ha cogido la nueva baja, ya está en un sistema distinto al de Thomson que le puede llevar hasta las puertas de Hornos, debe tener aún clavada la delantera que le cogió Gabart en el 2012/13 (creo que fue subiendo hacia el ecuador), y parece que este año quiere llegar a esa zona con el trabajo lo más adelantado posible...a falta de imprevistos, claro..

No, yo creo que es una guiñada, y la sombra cambia su proyeccion en la cubierta, pero si te fijas, al fondo de la imagen la escota ni se mueve

Structural damage to Le Souffle du Nord pour Le Projet Imagine

At 1545 UTC on Sunday, the 60-foot monohull, Le Souffle du Nord pour Le Projet Imagine skippered by Thomas Ruyant, currently taking part in the eighth Vendée Globe, collided with a UFO. Thomas then discovered an ingress of water in the sail locker in the bow. The incident also caused damage to the starboard rudder, the bottom frame as well as some other structural damage in particular to the deck of the boat. The sailor from NE France is fine and has not asked for assistance.

“Thomas is in the process of carrying out an appraisal of the damage and ensuring his boat can sail without suffering. He has already prepared his safety gear in case the situation worsens. At the time of the incident, he was sailing in winds blowing in excess of forty knots and on very heavy seas. Thomas is trying to find a solution to make his way to New Zealand,” explained Laurent Bourgués, technical director of Le Souffle du Nord.
The Vendée Globe Race Directors are in contact with the New Zealand maritime rescue authorities, in case the skipper asks for help, should the situation deteriorate.

A la espera de noticias de Thomas Ruyant, hay daños estructurales en varenga aparte de via de agua y timón. Esperamos.

Me gusta Destremou...gran comunicador!!..y luchador!!..sin embargo creo que el barco no está muy bien preparado..tengo la impresión de que está bastante "usado"..y ahora cuando empieza lo duro...las cosas se rompen..
Ojalá siga..me cae muy bien!!.. y también peleó duro para estar en la salida!!::cid5:

Puf... Gracias Trica.
De verdad encoge el animo ver el estado en que están las cosas al final de la flota.
Dice que tuvo que parar el barco en medio de la rasca porque sino perdía el palo, se arranco el cadenote del J3 y explosionó el bacstay (bastaque de babor) ha tenido que bajar la mayor, y subirá al palo cuando mejoren las cosas un poco.
Parece que se ha separado un patín de la mayor o la carrilera, no logro entenderlo bien.
