 At 03h 12m 10s UTC on Thursday 19th May 2011, Antoine Rioux and Thibault Reinhart sailing Festival Des Pains (800) in dying winds crossed the Royal Western Yacht Club finish line to win the 565 mile UK Fastnet 650 2011.
They completed the course in 3 days 13 hours 31 minutes and ten seconds giving an average speed of just over 6.6 knots for the 565 mile course that took them from Plymouth to Eddystone Light and around Bishop Rock, Fastnet Rock and the Conninberg Light before returning to Plymouth.
The next boat to finish is expected to be Soitec around 0700 UTC
