En concreto, los problemas son los siguientes, según cita de messabout
: "At 700 pounds (two passengers) it will draw a little over 5 inches of water when at rest. It is a cat. The bow waves converge between the hulls and pile up water that far exceeds the 5 inch static draft, leaving you only 8 or 10 inches of freeboard. At a slightly different speed the waves converge and pile up at the motor shaft housing. Not good, no way to fix that problem, Inviolable principles of physics are involved. Raising the whole motor will help but it will not solve the underlying problem. The boat ignores too many hydrodynamic realities."
Algunas mejoras se pueden hacer, pero no todos los problemas pueden ser arreglados.
