I think the NMEA sentences send by raymarine are not those expected by qtVlm. For instance we expect $GPRMC or $IIRMC, and I see on your image that you receive $ECRMC. After a check on internet I discover this is valid too, so I will modify qtVlm to accept $EC sentences as well.
Can you please send me the raw data so I can test it (copy to clipboard and paste it in notepad for instance)? My email adress is maitai <at> virtual-winds.com
