The best way is the following:

Install subversion if this is not already done:

#sudo apt-get install subversion

get the sources:

#svn checkout svn://svn.code.sf.net/p/qtvlm/code/trunk

Compile qtVlm:

#cd trunk
#make

Install it

#make install
