Las cifras que comentas son una traducción "libre" de la Nota de Prensa enviada por el astillero a la prensa náutica comentando las primeras pruebas en el agua. En lo concerniente a tu comentario, la NdP dice:
. . . The upwind boatspeed easily met the VPP targets for the conditions; 6.7 to 6.8 kts at 37 degree true wind angle. In the flat waters of the Baltic we were often able to sail higher and faster than this.


On the way back passing Årøsund, the large asymmetric spinnaker was set, and gybing angles and rudder were tested. The speed was impressive and the highest log showed 12.5 knots which is on the good side of what was expected of the polar data of the boat. Back down to downwind VMG angles we were still fast at around 8 kts boatspeed at 170 deg true. In surfing conditions we expect the 33 to be even faster and more exciting to sail. . . . "

Resumiendo: velocidad de ceñida entre 6.7 y 6.8 a 37º de TWA (ángulo de viento real) y máxima cifra en la corredera (no habla de GPS) de 12,5 nudos sin precisar a qué rumbo, que se mantiene sobre lo 8 nudos bajando a 170º respecto al viento. Son cifras más que aceptables.
