Estos proponen otro método, tal vez podamos aprender todos:
- Bear off to 120 – 150 degrees off the wind. Raise the boom to allow for the 1st reef.
- Bring the boom enough in to pull the mainsail a little distance away from the shroud particularly with back swept spreaders.
- Ease the main halyard until the mainsail rests onto the shroud and then
- wind in the reefing line thereby pulling the mainsail again away from the shroud.
- Repeat easing the halyard and pulling the reefing line till the reef is in.
- Attach the Cunningham down-haul to the sail and tighten.
- Adjust the leech line.
- Tension the mainsail halyard.
O sea cazar para separar la botavara de los obenques, largar driza, cazar el rizo y así sucesivamente hasta que el rizo esté tomado, después cazar la amura del rizo...
Dice que mejor con sables forzados, eso es cierto, pero que esto es fácil en solitario y sin molestar a quien no está de guardia...

No me convence mucho, ponerse al 120 TWA primero?
Y suele ser mejor cazar amura y driza antes que escota, si no cuesta mucho aplanar la vela. Y además presupone que se lleva amantillo, que no siempre es cierto.
Pero bueno, igual lo pruebo 1 dia y resulta que es mejor.
