"Rig" es aparejo (aparejo de goleta, aparejo redondo...).
"Rigging" es jarcia, "standing rigging" es jarcia fija y "running rigging" es jarcia de labor.
"Spars" englobaría tanto mástiles como vergas y botavaras. Creo que es lo más parecido a arboladura.

La verdad que todo esto me sorprende mucho. No recuerdo haber encontrado otro campo de conocimiento hasta ahora donde cada cual interprete significados tan diferentes para los términos, más allá de las diferencias que pueda haber en un mismo idioma en función de la región donde se hable, como por ejemplo el español de España y el de Latinoamérica o incluso dentro de España, entre el español de sus distintas Comunidades Autónomas.
