Muy buenas cofrades!
Tengo un velero de 8,4m de eslora y me gustaría empezar a hacer charter con él, en verano sobre todo. Tengo intención de registrarlo en Polonia con la licencia comercial pero viendo los problemas que hay me voy a esperar.
Echando un ojo al abanderamiento en Canada me he dado cuenta que no exigen el Registro de Barcos Comerciales (Small Vessel Register) a los de eslora menor de 8,5m.:
"PART 1
Registration
Exempted Classes of Vessels
1.1 (1) The following classes of vessels are exempted from the registration requirement in subsection 46(1) of the Act:
(a) vessels that are equipped with one or more primary propulsion engines whose aggregate power is less than 7.5 kW;
(b) vessels that are 8.5 m or less in length and that are propelled by sail alone;"
Por lo que valdría con el registro en Pleasure Craft License.
Les he consultado por email y esta ha sido su contestación:
"If your sailboat is not owned by Canadian citizens, permanent residents of Canada, a Canadian corporation, or a foreign corporation with a Canadian authorized representative then it cannot be registered in Canada. Canada will not register a vessel owned by foreign citizens, partnerships, or trusts.
