I have two, brand new Teleflex red international 60 amp ammeter gauges that I have never installed. My engines have 40 amp charging, but after buying these I found ammeter gauges are specifically not recommended for outboards, and are difficult to do.
The wiring requires heavy 10 gauge leads connected directly into the engine electrical system. Mercury specifically advised me not install these, and offers no such OEM gauge. Check with your engine manufacturer before you waste your money like I did. I think this is an inboard item.
