En la revisión de 2014 de las normas de seguridad de la ISAF, me he llevado una sorpresa.

Resulta que la norma 3.29.1 pide en su apartado

e) A hand-held marine VHF transceiver, watertight or
with a waterproof cover. When not in use to be
stowed in a grab bag or emergency container (see
OSR 4.21) The handheld receiver should have
Digital Selective Calling (DSC) and be equipped

with GPS.

O sea, que el VHF fijo solo hace falta para Categoría 3, pero para todas las categorías 4, 3, 2, 1, y 0 hace falta un Portátil estanco con DSC y GPS
