Y si es en el 2009 casi seguro sera Valencia, pero.............para el 2011 suena Italia,

No, no Axterix. Ya está firmado y confirmado: Valencia 2009.

Following a new agreement with the Spanish state, the Valencia Regional Government and the Valencia Municipality, the Host City for the 33rd America’s Cup will be Valencia. The event will take place in 2009, between May and July, with two pre-regattas to be held in 2008. One of them will be in Valencia in July and the other one in another European country in the autumn. They will be raced on the existing America´s Cup Class (Version 5) boats.

Three prestigious members nominated for Arbitration Panel

AC Management (ACM), as the Event Authority for the 33rd America’s Cup, is pleased to announce the nomination of the Arbitration Panel that will resolve disputes in the frame of the 33rd America's Cup, except sporting and technical issues which will be solved by a separate Sailing Jury to be established by the end of the year. The Arbitration Panel will also act as an appeal body for decisions of the Sailing Jury.

The Arbitration Panel will be composed of three members with a long-term experience in sports law: Professor Henry Peter, from Switzerland, who will chair the Panel, Graham McKenzie, from New Zealand and Luis María Cazorla Prieto, from Spain. Both Mr.McKenzie and Professor Peter served on the Jury of the 32nd America’s Cup. Prof. Henry Peter was also a member of the 31st America's Cup Arbitration Panel.

No, Valencia no está confirmada como tampoco ningún otro lugar. Dependerá de lo que decida el juez de Nueva York.

En el caso de que GGYC le gane el juicio a SNG y Bertarelli no de su brazo a torcer, en unos 10 meses se tendrán que enfrentar BMW Oracle y Alinghi pudiendo Alinghi decidir dónde anunciándolo un mes antes de que se produzca el enfrentamiento.

Si gana Alinghi, sí que parece que será en Valencia.

Todavía no se sabe ni lo que va a pasar en el 2008, así que el 2011 está todavía, como que en el aire. (¿en el AYRE?...)
