Hello all,

My name is Max and I am here on behalf of virtual Regatta to answer your questions and put an end to your worries!

First and foremost, WE DO UNDERSTAND how this is a problem and WE ARE SOLVING IT!

Here is the most probable action that we will take if this still poses a problem: All boats who started late will receive a penalty which will most likely be administered at the end of the race (as it would be too hectic to start moving boats now).

We have slowed the pilot boat down (meaning we regressed it's position percentage-wise in the ranking and in position). The pilot boat is where we place new joiners and it is not the head of the fleet, (as I'm sure many of you know) but rather a point determined by the admin where we deem late joiners can still have a chance at competing in the race despite their late start.

Obviously we don't want to give them a leg up on our skilled, returning customers, who started at the beginning of the race! This will not be a 'stuff happens' situation and we are working out the best possible solution to ensure fairness and an equal playing field for all of our valued customers.

As your opponents' courses has no bearing or effect on your own, keep racing! Do not be discouraged by what may seems to be an unfair advantage, as we will sort it all out before the race is over.

We understand this is frustrating as you would like to know your true position, but as always the rankings are never 100% correct anyways as they are on a time delay!

We do apologize for the inconvenience and you have my word that this will be sorted out as soon as possible.

Para los que no os manejéis con el idioma bárbaro viene a decir que saben quienes son los que han salido más tarde y que les van a penalizar. Posiblemente al final de la etapa. Entienden lo frustrante de no conocer tu posición real pero que están intentando arreglarlo y que no es intención de la organización favorecer a los que han empezado tarde.

Por lo menos han dicho que lo han detectado y que van intentar arreglarlo (aunque cuanto tiempo les va a caer?). Esto es una organización no lo de la BWR.

Yo creo que no tenian mas remedio, porque si no se mueven las bajas hubiesen sido masivas, es poco serio lo que ha pasado.
