Queda mucha regata. Todavía habrá que ver muchas cosas. Bien es verdad que ahora mismo AT lleva bastante tiempo con dos nudos menos, pero yo creo que todavía no hay que darle por muerto. Este tío esta muy loco!

Tienes mucha razón. Pero muchas veces tanto va el cántaro a la fuente que al final Igual alguna vez hasta llega! Y encima son los que le dan más salsa a la regata!

El "caso" Thomson parece claro, leo por seasailsurf:

"Et là oui (n’en déplaise aux adeptes des théories les plus délirantes qui allaient jusqu’à avancer que Thomson avait installé un foil de rechange !), Hugo Boss est clairement moins rapide avec son foil tribord endommagé."

Se entiende, ¿no?, teoría delirante lo del foil de recambio, y Hugo Boss claramente menos rápido, lo que le añade mérito a Dark Thomson

¿Veis el foil de estribor por algún lado por encima o a la izquierda del hombro izquierdo de Thomson?

Sin embargo cuando gira la cámara y se ve la banda de babor, se ve el foil de ese lado trabajando. Por muy replegado que estuviera el de estribor debería de verse detrás de Thomson. Iker Gimenez, no tienes caso

los de Sailing Anarchy han hablado con Thompson por teléfono para intentar aclarar el misterio del foil de recambio.

AT: “It's an interesting question. One of the benefits of going for the design that we went for is that you have the ability to be able to push out what was there, and we'd be the only boat in the fleet that could put a foil in through the deck. It was certainly part of our consideration when we chose to go for this foil.

VG: Do you have a spare foil onboard?
AT: “One of the major problems with these foils is that they're very heavy. They're north of 100kgs each so the reality of being able to put another one in – getting it up on deck, and jiggling around with it – is that it would be very, very difficult. It's not an easy thing to try to do – I guess you'd have to have perfect conditions for it.

VG: Do you have a spare foil onboard?
AT: “Do I have a spare foil onboard? That would be telling, wouldn't it.”
