Today was a hard day, we lost the A7 sail...
This morning, I had wind of 30 knt + and broached. Unluckily, the rudder that was in the water kicked up, and lost control of the boat.
I quickly put the rudder back, and tried to get the A7 sail back but too late, the sail was ripped from the water.
Got the sail back, put it in the sail bag, and stored it in the cockpit.
Put the Blast Reacher up, then the A3 up.
Took a few videos, photos, called the team to let them know what had happened, it was already late afternoon before I knew.
It's sad because it was a sail that should have been useful for the south seas. I only have an A3 and a Blast Reacher for downwind sails now.
I will be a little slower but no worries, road is still long.
