bueno,pues eso,.....sobre la marcha..... por alla en el pacifico sur en ¨el holandes errante¨ sin su errante a bordo 3 huracanes a la vez esten soplando ahora mismo en el pacifico sur. ¨el holandes errante ¨ se encuentra en la isla de Vanua Levu en el archipielago de FIJI. El huracan que se esta acercando ahora, se llama PAM. parece que los vientos más cañeras pasaran a bastante distancia .Acabo de llamar a Fiji ( estoy en Europa ) y el velero parece estar bien a su boya delante el pueblo de Savu Savu. Pam is moving west-southwestward at 5 mph. Maximum sustained winds are 115 mph with gusts to 140 mph. Pam is forecast to continue to intensify over the next few days as it moves southward and becomes the equivalent of a major hurricane. Pam will bring torrential rain and damaging winds to Vanuatu over the next 24-48 hours. Depending on Pam's exact track, it could bring the threat for heavy rainfall and gusty winds to the North Island of New Zealand by the weekend. Intense tropical cyclone Pam is forecast to strike as a very intense tropical cyclone at about 06:00 GMT on 13 March. Pam is expected to bring 1-minute maximum sustained winds to the region of around 250 km/h (155 mph). Wind gusts in the area may be considerably higher. According to the Saffir-Simpson damage scale the potential property damage and flooding from a storm of Pam's strength (category 4) at landfall includes: Storm surge generally 4.0-5.5 metres (13-18 feet) above normal. Curtainwall failures with some complete roof structure failures on small residences. Shrubs, trees, and all signs are blown down. Complete destruction of mobile homes. Extensive damage to doors and windows. Low-lying escape routes may be cut by rising water 3-5 hours before arrival of the centre of the storm. Major damage to lower floors of structures near the shore. Terrain lower than 3 metres (10 feet) above sea level may be flooded requiring massive evacuation of residential areas as far inland as 10 km (6 miles).
