Jelly (christened name Magellan Louise Lemay
Lynn), was born March 24, 2000 and was
adopted at age 6 weeks from the local SPCA in
League City, TX. As of Fall 2007, Jelly went to
live permanently with Marcie's Mom, Bea, in
Mansfield, MA, USA. As Cups and crew planned
to head west across the Pacific, the thoughts of
quarantining Jelly for long periods didn't seem
reasonable. New Zealand and Australia are not
especially welcoming to visiting animals. Jelly
agreed wholeheartedly. We're sure that thoughts of
returning to the sailing life never even enters her
mind! But we certainly miss her!

Always watch for that elusive green flash.

Exhausted from the carnival festivities, Jelly
went to sleep with her costume on. Never
miss the opportunity for a nap. Some rules
bear repeating!

Fishing is life...the rest is details.

It's okay to be cute sometimes. It keeps the
humans amused. Here's looking at you, kid!

Compartir con vosotros los avances de Kissa en este mundillo que nos vuelve locos... En apenas dos meses he logrado que mi gata "acepte" ser gata marinera, ya no se marea y parece sentirse como en casa a bordo de Cocoliso.

Al principio no podía navegar "dentro", se ponía malísima. Ahora ya nada más zarpar se va a su cuna, duerme como un lirón y sólo asoma la cabeza cuando tiene hambre. Si el mar está tranquilo, navega en cubierta, en las posturas más raras que os podáis imaginar Siempre lleva puesto el arnés y no la dejo que se pasee por la cubierta mientras estamos navegando, que no me fío....

Ya ha perdido el miedo al pantalán, así que he de tenerla atada pq se baja del barco y se va de paseo y a visitar a sus amigos de "Anavre" )))

Vamos, creo que Kissa ya puede registrarse en LTP como una más de nosotros!

A todos los uqe tenéis mascota, no lo dudéis!!! Es genial navegar con ellos

Jo, no consigo reducir el tamaño... sorry!

PD: POr cierto, no hemos usado nada tipo feromonas. Simplemente pasar ratos en el puerto, luego navegando... y poco a poco...sin prisa pero sin pausa. Le he dado biodramina (de gatos) una vez pq eran 30 millas...
Sí que intento que durmamos a bordo el día antes, pq si llegamos del coche al barco, se cabrea tanto que no hay manera!
