Con otro móvil/App otros 5 equipos...

una opcion muy barata es comprar unos "localizadores" que se conectan al movil por bluetoot, cuando pierde la señal salta una alarma en tu movil, yo he hecho pruebas con muy buen resultado, de hecho cuando fondeo dejo uno en el auxiliar por si alguien se le ocurre cogerla prestada, el precio creo que sobre 1,70 cada uno

Les he escrito y os copio su respuesta:

Dear Pepe,

5-6 beacons paired to one device is the recommended maximum amount. More than this can degrade the polling signal to each beacon and make false alarms more likely, due to loss of bluetooth. For 8 crew on watch at one time, two devices are the best solution.

More than 5 beacons can be paired to one device, but the recommended 5 is how many can be active at the same time.

To explain this further, the CrewWatcher beacon’s Bluetooth line-of-sight range is up to 300 ft/90m, through the use of Bluetooth 4.2. There are several versions of Bluetooth, and the ones used for cars and speakers (audio) are often Bluetooth 2, an old standard. Bluetooth 2 has a relatively high bandwidth necessary for the transmission of audio. CrewWatcher uses Bluetooth 4.2, a much newer version with a low energy standard. The CrewWatcher app only sends a few bytes per second, vs hundreds sent to cars or speakers, so the chance of failure in transmission is much lower. Also CrewWatcher uses specialized long range antennas transmitting on maximum power (8dbm). This ensures a signal that is strong enough to connect anywhere onboard with no false alarms, yet will break when crew goes overboard. The app is polling the beacon every second and expecting a response. If it does not receive a response within 5 seconds, or its water sensors are activated, the alarm will sound. In other words, it’s the absence of a signal – or water immersion – that triggers the alarm.
