Por lo que he estado leyendo en varios foros, incluso en la comunidad de Victron, es un tema recurrente y nunca realmente bien respondido por ellos. Lo que más claro me ha quedado es en un foro donde una persona decía que lo tenía instalado en su caravana sin conectar el "energize", pero que eso depende de si el alternador que va acoplado al motor necesita "ver" tensión en el terminal B+ o no... Parece que algunos alternadores no lo necesitan, por lo que entoces no haría falta conectar el "energize", que lo que realmente hace es"puentear" los FET del aislador y con un limitador de corriente permite un paso de corriente hacia el B+ para poder hacer que el alternador empiece a generar electricidad. A ver si lo pruebo con el mío. Éste es el mensaje del foro de donde lo he sacado:

That's not what "Energize" does. Some alternators are unable to start unless they see battery voltage on the B+ terminal. With a battery isolator based on diodes or FETs, there is no reverse path from the + terminals of the batteries back to B+, and so, at startup, the voltage on B+ is zero. The ArgoFET provides a way to work around this inherent limitation of battery isolators when used with such alternators: "Energize" allows you to raise the voltage that the alternator sees on the B+ terminal by feeding power from the + side of the start battery to the B+ terminal. This path is forward only (meaning current can flow from Energize to B+ but not the other way), and "current limited" (per the data sheet) or, more likely, fuse protected by a self-resetting fuse. If you don't have such an alternator that needs voltage on B+ to start, there is no need to connect the "Energize" terminal to anything. The "Energize" terminal has nothing to do with powering the internal electronics of the ArgoFET.
