Muchas gracias, Gilinas, creo que es lo que necesitaba.
El modelo nuestro creo que es el AIS; ¿A que cableado te refieres? Hay dos hilos que salen por un lateral, no recuerdo de que colores son, uno está embornado en una de las bornas de abajo, pero no recuerdo en cual, y el otro suelto.
A ver si mañana voy abordo y os comento los resultados.

En mi caso (Mux AIS-C) lo que dice el manual es:

Setup via USB
For setup using the USB connection, first switch off the C-series. Remove the yellow wire (Cseries
NMEA Out) from the mux terminal if the C-series is already connected.
Under the large green connector block a blue wire can be found. Remove the insulation from this
wire and insert it in the terminal labeled “Yellow C-series NMEA Out+”.
Execute the setup procedure as described in the manual for the standard multiplexer model. Set
the baudrate in Hyperterminal to 38400 bps. When finished, remove the blue wire, insulate it and
re-insert the yellow wire of the C-series NMEA output.

En cristiano:
Hay un cable azul que sale por un costado del Mux, hay que conectarlo a una entrada etiquetada “Yellow C-series NMEA Out+” desconectando lo que hubiera allí previamente.

Y luego conectar con el Hiperterminal.
